Aman introduces Nura – its new beach club restaurant

CAPTURING the easy-going, sun-drenched rhythms of life on the coast, Aman has just unveiled its latest dining concept, Nura. Arriving on the shores of Korakia Beach at Amanzoe, Greece and the golden sands of Amanpuri, Thailand, Nura celebrates the sparkling energy of Mediterranean cuisine and culture.

The new restaurant joins Aman’s family of global culinary concepts, including Arva – a luxurious homage to Italian gastronomy, which has also just landed at Amankila, Indonesia – and Nama – a Japanese washoku restaurant.

Nura’s menu focuses on the art of grilling, with tapas, crudos, salads, and pizzettes appearing as key offerings. Sharing plates remain at the heart of the experience and include signature dishes such as yellowtail tiradito with citrus dressing, Manchego and black truffle croquettes, charcoal-fired meats, and fresh seafood.

Similarly, to further usher in a new chapter for the company, Aman will be hosting a series of exciting events this summer. For example, at Amanoi, Vietnam, two esteemed guest chefs will present Italian and Mediterranean dinners at the Beach Club on select Fridays. Chef de cuisine Simone Balini from Aman Le Mélézin will work alongside esteemed pastry chef William Miroslaw, who will be conducting pastry workshops and cooking classes at the Rock Studio twice a month.

Later in the year, from 14-18 September, Mid-Autumn Festival activities such as Vietnamese coffee and chocolate tasting, mocktail making and a Vietnamese spring roll cooking class will take place.

Meanwhile, at Aman Tokyo, guests can enjoy an exclusive menu of fresh seafood dishes complemented by wine and champagne until the 31st of August. From deep-water oysters to shrimp cocktails and bouillabaisse, the menu has a wide variety of options to choose from.

However, the festivities don’t stop there. At Aman Summer Palace, China, guests are invited to enjoy a peaceful breakfast experience on Kunming Lake. A private dragon boat will guide guests along peaceful water, offering views of distant mountains and warm sunrises.

Guests to Amandayan, China can also join in on the celebrations this summer with the Tea House Afternoon Tea. Available until mid-October, one can enjoy a unique afternoon tea experience at Amandayan’s own Tea House. Dishes range from black truffle with shrimp and mushroom dumplings to dill flower Dayan Earl Grey tiramisu and freshly baked cranberry scones with mascarpone.

With such an array of events taking place over the next few months, guests will be spoilt for choice this summer at Aman Resorts.
