BASED in La Chaux- de-Fonds, Switzerland, TAG Heuer has been known for its avant-garde watchmaking spirit and its commitment to innovation since it was founded by Edouard Heuer in 1860.

Now headed up by CEO Antoine Pin, the brand’s core collection consists of three iconic families designed by Jack Heuer, cue the TAG Heuer Carrera, Monaco, and Autavia, and it’s rounded out with the contemporary TAG Heuer Link, Aquaracer, Formula 1, and Connected lines.

TAG Heuer for 2025 F1

Back in the driving seat and perfectly exuding its motto, “Don’t Crack Under Pressure” TAG has announced that it is once again the F1’s official timekeeper, and right in time to celebrate 75th anniversary of Formula 1 this year.

With a rich history in the sport that spans over seven decades, 2025 marks the revival of their partnership that embodies luxury, precision, innovation, performance and speed. After all, TAG Heuer was the first luxury brand to have its logo appear on a Formula 1 car in 1969, the first to sponsor a team in 1971 and, with 239 wins and 15 World Drivers’ Championships to its name, it’s one of the most successful brands in history to be associated with Formula 1.

“In a sport defined by mental resilience, physical strength, strategy, innovation, and performance it is only natural for TAG Heuer to be at the very heart of Formula 1 as Official Timekeeper” says Antoine Pin, CEO of TAG Heuer.

He continues, “With decades of history in F1 connecting us to the most successful drivers and teams of all time, we are honoured and privileged to be the name connected to the very thing that defines the winner: time. As Formula 1 and their exceptional team continue to build on the amazing work that has been done to create one of the greatest properties in sport, we are excited to be part of the journey and create new stories to enrich TAG Heuer.”

Formula 1 has become one of the most culturally significant and successful sporting championships in the world, with 750 million fans worldwide and a fanbase that’s becoming younger and more diverse—just head over to TikTok to see its popularity amongst a younger audience.

The 2024 season saw 1.5 billion viewers tune into the action-packed season, where the wheel-to-wheel racing went down to the wire between McLaren and Ferrari for the Constructors’ Championship in Abu Dhabi.

On the next stage of the F1 x TAG Heuer partnership, Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO, Formula 1 says the timekeeping brand is a natural fit, “With their focus on innovation, accuracy and excellence, they are a natural partner, and I am excited to see how our intertwining heritage can tell new stories for the future as we celebrate our 75th year.”

As part of the collaboration, TAG Heuer will have a significant presence both on and off the track, through trackside branding, Fan Zone and Paddock Club activations and new product ranges that encapsulate the drama of Formula 1. Roll on the Australian Grand Prix in March.

CONTINUING the launch of OMEGA’s latest Diver 300M collection, the latest edition to join the family has now been unveiled in Grade 2 Titanium and Bronze Gold. This special model follows the stainless steel versions that were recently released, and gives watch aficionados another choice within the metallic range.

We see the new watch move away from the familiar ceramic style of recent years, and instead drawing inspiration from the Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition (you may have spotted it on Bond in No Time To Die).

Seamaster Diver 300M in Bronze Gold

Seamaster Diver 300M in Titanium

A rework of a classic, there’s still the beloved domed sapphire crystal for a nod to vintage, while the green aluminium dial is presented on a brushed mesh bracelet that’s crafted in Grade 2 Titanium; a material famous for being lightweight, corrosion-resistant, biochemically inert, and able to withstand extreme temperatures, making it ideal for the adventurous and sporty types.

In contrast, OMEGA’s exclusive Bronze Gold is used for the bezel, crown, helium escape valve, and the PVD bronze gold coating on the hands, and it’s a unique alloy designed to retain its natural patina over time.

Seamaster Diver 300M

The combination of these two materials is complemented by the green aluminium, including the dial with blackened indexes filled with vintage Super-LumiNova, and the oxalic anodized aluminium bezel ring, with its diving scale also in vintage Super-LumiNova.

Look inside, and visible through the caseback’s sapphire crystal, the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806 guarantees the Swiss industry’s high standard of precision, performance, and magnetic resistance, as certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).

Choose this model on its mesh bracelet or go for the integrated green rubber strap.

CARTIER is set to take over one of the V&A’s galleries next spring with the UK’s first major exhibition in almost 30 years dedicated to the luxury accessory brand.

Undoubtedly considered one of the most celebrated jewellery houses in the world, turn the page of your favourite magazine and a glossy ad displaying signature pieces such as the Panther ring or Love bracelet will glisten back at you.

From the brand’s humble beginning in 1847 when Louis-François Cartier took over the workshop of Adolphe Picard in Paris inaugurating Maison Cartier, to the emergence of the brand in Parisian high society, to today where the brand is globally renowned, Cartier’s trajectory continues to break luxury jewellery moulds.

Tiara, Cartier London, 1937. Aquamarine, diamonds and platinum. Vincent Wulveryck, Collection Cartier © Cartier.

The V&A’s new exhibition, simply titled Cartier, traces the distinguished heritage of this iconic watch and jewellery brand from the turn of the 20th century to the present.

Divided into three main sections that chart design, craftsmanship, materials, as well as the brand’s cultural references, before culminating in a glistening array of tiaras, Cartier will boast an impressive 350-plus objects.

Standout pieces include the Williamson Diamond brooch; a floral brooch encrusted with diamonds of different cuts (brilliants, baguettes, and marquises) and centred by a rare 23.6-carat pink Williamson diamond that was commissioned by Queen Elizabeth II in 1953, and worn part of her Silver Jubilee festivities, will step out of the archives.

Also on display, is the Scroll Tiara worn by Queen Elizabeth II for her coronation in 1953 and then later styled by none other than pop star Rihanna for the cover of W magazine in 2016.

Exhibition curators Helen Molesworth (Senior Jewellery Curator at the V&A) and Rachel Garrahan (Project Curator at the V&A and Jewellery Director) enthuse “this exhibition will explore how Louis, Pierre and Jacques Cartier, together with their father Alfred, adopted a strategy of original design, exceptional craftsmanship and international expansion that transformed the Parisian family jeweller into a household name.” From royal commissions to celebrity clients, Cartier delves into the shining heritage of the watches and jewellery makers.

Cartier will take over The Sainsbury Gallery, a temporary exhibition space housed underneath the V&A’s famous welcome courtyard, an expansive, moody gallery lit by the jagged skylights that will make a dramatic addition to the coveted Cartier exhibition.

by Ella Mansell

Cartier will run at The Sainsbury Gallery, V&A from 12 April to 16 November 2025.

Tickets are available at vam.ac.uk/exhibitions/cartier

ADVENTUROUS, bold, and laden with a lasting legacy, Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson is a book that is as much about imaginative and creative discovery as it is about physical conquest.

Van Cleef & Arpels borrow the title and its feverish allure for uncovering riches from this literary tale with the brand’s largest High Jewellery collection to date. Spanning diamond-encrusted clips to necklaces decked with sapphires, Treasure Island by Van Cleef & Arpels spare no mystique – and just in time for festive shopping too!

Van Cleef & Arpels Treasure Island

As Nicolas Bos, President and CEO of Van Cleef & Arpels, explains “Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island is a book laden with universal resonance and a powerful collective imagination” that is celebrated in the new High Jewellery drop. Van Cleef & Arpels have long maintained their prestigious reputation for high-quality jewellery that is loved and worn among the stars.

The latest release of High Jewellery only elevates this. The finest cut, clarity, colour, and weight of precious stones from across the world reign supreme here, while ornamental clips are each shaped by hand as Van Cleef & Arpels redraws Stevenson’s creative horizons within the decorative arts.

Van Cleef & Arpels Treasure Island

Van Cleef & Arpels Treasure Island

There are three parts to Van Cleef & Arpels’ new jewellery journey: Chapter One: the boat journey; Chapter Two: the exploration of the island; Chapter Three: the quest for treasure. Across the three, over 125 items paint this glittering excitement of adventure and discovery, moving between maritime motifs to cartology and long-lost treasures.

Opening with the adventure at sea, the Maison reconstructs the Hispaniola as a clip, named after the ship in the epic novel, as a sailing boat with five sails in white gold set with diamonds to mimic the linen sailcloths of 19th-century boats. The boat clip riffs off both Steveson’s tale as well as the brand’s own aquatic history as soon after the Maison was founded in 1906, it fashioned a scale model of the Varuna tall mast ship from gold and enamel. Adventure and Van Cleef & Arpels have always come hand in hand.

Van Cleef & Arpels Treasure Island

Three different three-dimensional buccaneer clips also make their way into the collection, each hand-shaped and studded with a fine selection of rubies, pink sapphires, black lacquers, and diamonds (an impressive loot), while the Cordage Infini necklaces and earrings as well as the En Haute Mer transformable necklace and ring mirror sailors knots with figures of eights and boleyn patterns.

Van Cleef & Arpels Treasure Island

Further in the three-part High Jewellery saga, the Coquilles Mystérieuses bracelet evokes a popular style of the 18th century, Rococo ornaments, with a shell-like fan shape. With the articulate repetition in the piece, the clasp is hidden when worn, adding to the thrill of mystery.

The collection culminates with the hidden treasure: rings that echo the grandeur of long-lost Oriental and Victorian treasure, made with multilevel structures, each decked by rows of precious stones and then topped with one cushion-cut violet or yellow sapphire.

Van Cleef & Arpels Treasure Island

No carat spared, Van Cleef & Arpels’ Treasure Island is spotlighting the gold in the Golden Age of Discovery, with High Jewellery set to quickly become collector’s items, just like the 1883 epic novel. So, where will your next piece take you?

HAUTE HORLOGERIE brand, Audemars Piguet has been exploring its creative side, cue its recent music collaboration with Keinemusik, and now, it’s teamed up with American artist and designer, KAWS.

And not to do things by halves, this collaboration has taken on many forms as we see KAWS’ infamous COMPANION taking pride of place – and how could it not, it’s a monumental 11-metre sculpture that sits on the roof of Audemars Piguet’s headquarters in Le Brassus, Switzerland, that’ll remain in place until the end of December.

And to celebrate, friends of the brand, including including Mark Ronson, J Balvin, Romeo Beckham, Rampa and Gstaad Guy gathered to raise a glass to the large-scale sculpture.

Audemars Piguet x KAWS

Next up, is the timepiece: the 43mm Royal Oak Concept Tourbillon COMPANION, which incorporates KAWS’ aesthetic on both sides of the watch. In a tribute to the artist’s early “ad intervention” work, KAWS’ COMPANION appears beneath the watch’s sapphire crystal, its face, and hands seemingly touching the inner surface of the glass, curiously peering out to see what’s going on.

This limited edition release sees only 250 pieces available, channelling KAWS’ aesthetic codes, COMPANION is at the centre of the dial thanks to the use of an innovative peripheral time display, reinforcing the subversive nature of the Royal Oak Concept collection.

Developing revolutionary technologies in the form of the oscillating pinion for mechanical stopwatches in 1887, the Mikrograph in 1916, the first automatic-winding chronograph movement – Calibre 11 – in 1969, and the first luxury smartwatch in 2015.

Today, a part of the LVMH group, the brand offers three lines designed by Jack Heuer: TAG Heuer Carrera, Monaco, and Autavia – and is rounded out with the contemporary TAG Heuer Link, Aquaracer, Formula 1, and Connected lines.

Living the brands motto, “Don’t Crack Under Pressure,” are a host of ambassadors that embrace TAG’s love for action and high performance, and Formula 1 driver Ayrton Senna is an early example of this. Celebrating the driver and long-standing ambassador (their collaboration started in 1988), this Swiss watchmaker is releasing an exclusive, limited-edition timepiece in his honour, meet the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Senna to mark the 30th anniversary of his legacy.

With its bold design, the watch incorporates elements that reflect Senna’s spirit and achievements, cue the carbon bezel, inscribed with “Senna,” a tachymeter scale that reaches up to 400 km/h, along with the nine o’clock subdial with Senna’s branding, and flashes of yellow, nodding to his logo.

The skeleton dial has also been reworked with multiple finishes, complete with a checkered flag motif, and the titanium case creates a three-dimensional profile; while on the reverse, there’s an iconic image of Senna with his helmet, and limited edition markings, as only 500 were produced.

Antoine Pin, CEO of TAG Heuer, says, “Ayrton Senna has marked us all at TAG Heuer and has marked the world of motorsports, both on the track and in life. With the launch of the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Senna, we celebrate his enduring spirit and inspire future generations of champions just as he inspired us. This timepiece embodies the passion and precision that defined his remarkable journey.”

Considered to be the best of the best, Ayrton Senna is still one of the most iconic and recognised drivers in the world of motor racing; fast, brilliant, and absolutely fearless, he never stopped pushing himself. To pay homage to the legend, a new six-episode Netflix series depicting his life, is dropping at the end of the month.

Developed and produced with the support of Senna’s family, the series, simply titled, ‘Senna,’ stars TAG Heuer ambassador Gabriel Leone as Senna, and details his journey from his early days in Brazil to his rise as one of Formula 1’s greatest drivers, capturing his biggest driving achievements, personal struggles, and relationships, concluding with the tragic accident at the San Marino Grand Prix.

“We are incredibly proud to continue our collaboration with TAG Heuer in creating exceptional timepieces like the TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Tourbillon x Senna. It is a privilege to see Ayrton’s legacy endure, and to have TAG Heuer as a partner in this journey. Ayrton would be deeply honoured by our efforts, and we hope this tribute not only celebrates his remarkable life but also inspires future generations to strive for greatness,” says Bianca Senna, CEO of Senna Brand.

BRITISH jewellery brand Otiumberg are delighted to announce the opening of their first flagship store in Holland Park.

The store has been co-designed by sister-founders Rosanna and Christie Wollenberg and Nick Short of Short Designs and will also act as the Otiumberg HQ and office. Personal design touches include oak and steel glass vitrines that reimagine the old haberdasheries and pharmacies that Rosanna has always loved, an upper mezzanine level featuring a special artwork by Joshua Perkins that both sisters love and that reminds them of the power of sisterhood.

Otiumberg Flagship Store

The space also features interwoven brass pendants from Universal Providers on the Golborne Road and an off-white awning outside the store featuring a seating area where clients can sit for a morning coffee.

“The demand for appointments has dramatically increased and we needed to create a better brand experience for our clients. Our focus on materiality means that our pieces really sell themselves once seen and felt: our collections feel truly luxurious in real life and our clients are always delighted by the attainable price point,” opines Rosanna Wollenberg.

The neighbourhood feel of Holland Park was the biggest appeal to Rosanna and Christie when searching for a bricks and mortar space and their focus will be on making the store a destination location, while fostering relationships with the local community.

Trunk shows and collaborations with local brands will be a key part of their marketing strategy. “This really is a dream come true for us both – we both grew up around South West and West London and as soon as we saw it on the market, we immediately felt that it was the right home for Otiumberg”.

TIFFANY & CO. has introduced its final phase of its Blue Book 2024 collection, Tiffany Céleste, debuting a series of dream-like high jewellery pieces.

This chapter connotes the genius of the late Jean Schlumberger, Tiffany’s revered designer, reflecting from his own fascination with the cosmos and the unknown. Through four enchanting chapters—Owl on a Rock, Phoenix, Unicorn, and Star Burst—Tiffany’s Chief Artistic Officer, Nathalie Verdeille, reinterprets Schlumberger’s renowned creations, including his most famous design: Bird on a Rock.

Phoenix Rubellite Necklace

Phoenix Fire Opal Brooch

Verdeille expressed her reverence for Schlumberger’s work, stating, “Each piece represents an in-depth exploration of the themes that inspired Jean Schlumberger. The fall launch of Tiffany Céleste revisits these designs with a modern twist, yet stays true to the spirit of Schlumberger’s unbridled creativity”.

Owl on a Rock Star Sapphire Brooch

Owl on a Rock Black Opal Brooch

A hallmark of this collection is the Owl on a Rock brooch series, a nocturnal counterpart to Schlumberger’s Bird on a Rock. Each owl brooch is perched on a “moon rock,” evoking the magic and mysteré of the night sky.

Precious gemstones such as black opals, moonstones, tanzanites, and celestial star sapphires are window into the depth of the universe, with each owl’s unique character complementing the stone beneath it.

Phoenix Rubellite Earrings

Phoenix Black Opal Brooch

In the Phoenix chapter, Schlumberger’s iconic Phoenix brooch takes the spotlight, representing rebirth. Inspired by the ancient mythological bird, the fiery design features vibrant gemstones. The collection includes a brooch and ring adorned with striking fire opals and Umba sapphires, as well as rubellites—mirroring the phoenix’s blazing feathers. A dazzling necklace showcases 17 cushion-cut rubellites weighing over 73 carats, highlighting the collection’s opulent essence.

Unicorn Purple Sapphire Ring

The Unicorn theme stems from Schlumberger’s fascination with the mythical creature – particularly its spiraled horn. This chapter showcases a dazzling unicorn brooch featuring a phantasmagorical  25-carat bicolour cushion-cut tourmaline paired with rich purple and pink sapphires that add a dreamlike quality to the design.

Star Burst Crystal Opal Necklace

Star Burst Crystal Opal Ring

To complete the series, the Star Burst chapter actualises luminous galaxies, with designs that sparkle with whimsy. A standout piece in this chapter is a necklace adorned with six oval cabochon crystal opals totalling over 64 carats, set amidst dazzling diamonds, capturing the expansive beauty of the cosmos.

NEW YORK jewellery house synonymous with elegance and creative excellence, Tiffany & Co. has announced its new designs from the Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams collection, with pearls and mythology aplenty. A fresh take on freshwater pearls.

A personal collection, Williams says, “The inspiration of the collection comes from my affinity with the water; and the name of the collection, ‘Titan,’ draws influence from Poseidon, ruler of the sea, King of Atlantis. ‘Atlantis’ is also the name of the community where I grew up in Virginia Beach.”

He continues: “In Japan, it was believed that pearls were created from the tears of mythical water creatures; so I naturally gravitated towards them as a means of expressing this connection to water.”

For further nods to almighty ruler vibes expect a spear-like motif that’s set against a unique link that’s curved and soft. Playing with proportions too, the line appeals to the left-of-centre creative souls, who like to be thoroughly expressive with their jewels.

The initial launch of Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams featured 18k yellow gold or black titanium in all-metal and diamond iterations, and now, there are high-lustre freshwater pearl and diamond pieces, representing heightened craftsmanship while ushering in a new era of fine jewellery, though necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings.

After all, pearls have always been a hallmark of Tiffany® design, from the seed-pearl suite that Abraham Lincoln gifted to his wife, Mary Todd Lincoln, for the presidential inaugural ball in 1862 to the rare saltwater pearls featured in the Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Bird on a Pearl capsule collection; and now we see a modern iteration.

Hero pieces in the new designs of Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Williams feature a statement necklace with freshwater pearls and nearly 1 total carat of diamonds, and a bracelet with freshwater pearls and over 2 total carats of diamonds. On the bracelet and necklace, spike rondelles crafted from 18k gold alternate with the pearls for a striking aesthetic.
